We are a family of 5 that has reached a financial slump.  We are at risk of losing our home and our only vehicle.  My husband works 60 hours a week and is starting school in the fall hoping to better himself and our situation.  I am a stay at home mom that suffers from disabiling migraines and have applied for disability, but have not heard back yet.  We have had to rob Peter to pay Paul so many times that the well is dry and we are behind on some major bills.  We owner finance our home and do not have good enough credit to buy the home outright.  Therefore, if we dont make our payments we will be evicted and have no place to go.  I have been paying on my truck for 2 years now and only have 1 year left on it, but it too is behind by one month.  Any help would be appreciated, advice or otherwise.

Sincerely,

Hello, Yes, it is a difficult situation to have overdue bills and expenses that excede the income. Maybe you should check some of the resources that the links in the next section lead to. There are federal programs aimed at aiding low and moderate income families and it is possible that you find the right one for you. There are programs for housing and school aid and even if you do not find immediately a program that you can apply for or that provides quick response to your needs, come back from time to time, because we are constantly adding new resources.
